CompuChild is a national franchise dedicated to spreading technology and entrepreneurial education among children through after-school enrichment. We have the distinction of being one of the two children’s education franchises in the US to be ‘STEM Certified’ by Cognia.

Our robotics program helps develop a sound understanding of fundamental machines such as a motor, axle, gear, pulley, lever, cam, and sensor. Children build an exciting new model in every class. These models incorporate sensors and motors which can be programmed to produce motion and sound. While the model-building exercise helps children with the understanding of machines, the programming aspect of our class helps them develop strong logical and critical thinking from an early age. They learn to use sequences, conditions, loops, etc. while playing with the robots they create. In addition to building and programming, we put a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication which are essential to any child’s professional development.
