Our Programs

The Full PLAY

The Full PLAY program at Castro Valley Unified School District elementary and middle schools offers an enriching and empowering afterschool experience for students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade. Our program combines a variety of activities, including enrichment classes, homework support, playground games, outdoor activities, and social engagement opportunities. In addition to our existing offerings, we are excited to introduce a new component called PlayCV Towns, designed to promote student empowerment and create a sense of community within our program. Some of the program highlights include;

‍Enrichment Classes:
The Full PLAY program provides students with the opportunity to participate in two PlayCV Enrichment Classes during each 9-week session. Check out our complete course catalog linked below.

‍Homework Support:
When students are not attending an Enrichment Class, they will participate in exclusive PlayCV activities and curriculum. All students will participate in Math Moment, and will receive dedicated homework support from our instructors. We aim to create a conducive environment for academic success and provide assistance to students as they work on their assignments.

PlayCV is proud to offer our students the opportunity to SHINE on stage! One cast from each school performs a musical on the big stage at the Castro Valley Center for the Arts.

Under the guidance of our passionate and experienced directors, students will not only build confidence and self-expression but also foster a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration. Whether you're a seasoned performer or a newcomer to the spotlight, PlayCV Productions is the perfect platform to unleash their talent and discover the magic of theater.

Enrichment Classes

Welcome to our exciting Enrichment Class program, now bigger and better than ever! This year, classes will be offered throughout the year in four sessions, each spanning approximately 9 weeks.

Our Enrichment Classes are thoughtfully designed to cater to a wide variety of interest, with the goal that every student gets a chance to participate. The curriculum is carefully curated to promote skill development and ignite a passion for learning. Our classes are led by dedicated instructors from the local community who are subject matter experts and truly passionate about their craft.

Summer Camp

Looking for a fun and educational summer camp for your child? Look no further!

Our summer camps provide a perfect blend of learning, exploration, and enjoyment for TK through 8th grade students, including STEAM workshops, sports camps, dance and music, arts and crafts, cooking, referee training, foreign languages, chess, and much more. We have crafted a diverse range of programs that will keep your kids active, entertained, and eager to learn throughout the summer break.
