¡Vengan todos al Carnaval! Este campamento trae la emoción de un carnaval directamente al patio de la escuela. Cada día, los campistas se sumergirán en diferentes actividades con temáticas de como diseñar sus propios juegos de feria, crear mini atracciones, hacer manualidades coloridas ¡y mucho más! Al final de la semana, los estudiantes mostrarán y probarán sus creaciones en una gran celebración para todo el campamento.
Las actividades diarias incluyen juegos al aire libre, días especiales de juegos con agua, construcción de pistas para canicas, juegos en grupo, creación de su propia rueda de la fortuna, STEM y arte con temática de carnaval, y mucho más.
About Dual Language Immersion (DLI)
These special summer camps are designed to support and build on the Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program offered during the school year at Vannoy Elementary. Just like in our regular camps, students will explore fun weekly themes through hands-on activities, games, and projects—but in these camps, everything is taught in Spanish by bilingual instructors! The goal is to help students grow their Spanish skills while having a blast—whether they speak Spanish at home or are learning it as a second language. It's a great way for kids to become confident in both English and Spanish, while gaining a deeper appreciation for different cultures.
Come one, come all to Carnival! This exciting camp brings the thrills of your local carnival right to your school grounds. Each day, campers will dive into a variety of themed activities, from designing their own carnival games and mini-replica attractions, creating vibrant crafts, and more. At the end of the week, they will showcase and test their builds during a camp-wide celebration! It will be one spectacular week filled with excitement and creativity, so step right up and let the fun begin!
Daily activities include a variety of outdoor activities, designated water play days, building marble runs, group games, building your own ferris wheel, theme-related STEM, Art, and more!
