Excel at FLL (FIRST® LEGO® League): The National Robotics Challenge

The FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) has been motivating children to research, experiment, build, and solve real-world challenges through robotics to gain a deep understanding of STEM in a friendly and collaborative environment. Not only do children learn robotics, coding, and engineering, but they also brainstorm and research innovative real-world projects and ideas while working in a team. Every year, the FLL creates a new challenge focused on two segments. One aspect of the challenge involves precise robotic navigation and the other aspect of the challenge focuses on research and problem solving. Through this summer camp, CompuChild will start to introduce children to both of these aspects of the FLL contest. The idea is to get children motivated and prepared to participate in the national FLL challenge and eventually, to help them do well in these contests.CompuChild is a national franchise dedicated to spreading STEM, STEAM, and entrepreneurial education among children through after-school enrichment. We have the distinction of being one of the two children’s education franchises in the US to be ‘STEM Certified’ by Cognia.
