Culturas en Colores: A Summer Journey Through Spanish-Speaking Countries

This summer camp offers a vibrant exploration of Spanish-speaking cultures through a weekly journey across various countries; engaging children in a variety of artistic; musical; culinary; poetic; and playful activities. From creating Mexican bark paintings and Salvadorian clay art; learning about Flamenco and Tango; to making traditional dishes like Alfajores from Peru and Marquesa de Chocolate from Venezuela; the program promises a rich cultural immersion. Poetry readings inspired by Pablo Neruda and Cecilia Meireles encourage creative expression; while traditional games from Cuba and Equatorial Guinea provide fun and active learning.
