¡Llamando a todos los aventureros! Durante la semana de Héroes y Leyendas, los campistas entrarán en un mundo lleno de imaginación, valentía y descubrimiento. A lo largo de la semana, emprenderán misiones, crearán personajes únicos y darán vida a sus propias historias. Con desafíos por conquistar y leyendas por descubrir, este campamento es donde la creatividad se junta con el coraje. Escribe tu historia, crea tu héroe y vive la aventura de tu vida.
Las actividades diarias incluyen juegos al aire libre, días especiales de juegos con agua, creación de su propio escudo de armas, juegos en grupo, construcción de una catapulta con palitos de paleta, STEM y arte con temática de aventuras, y mucho más.
About Dual Language Immersion (DLI)
These special summer camps are designed to support and build on the Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program offered during the school year at Vannoy Elementary. Just like in our regular camps, students will explore fun weekly themes through hands-on activities, games, and projects—but in these camps, everything is taught in Spanish by bilingual instructors! The goal is to help students grow their Spanish skills while having a blast—whether they speak Spanish at home or are learning it as a second language. It's a great way for kids to become confident in both English and Spanish, while gaining a deeper appreciation for different cultures.
Calling all adventurers! During Heroes & Legends Academy week, campers will step into a world of imagination, bravery, and discovery. Throughout the week, campers will embark on quests and build unforgettable characters to bring their stories to life. With challenges to conquer and legends to uncover, this camp is where creativity meets courage. Write your story, create your hero, and embark on the adventure of a lifetime!
Daily activities include a variety of outdoor activities, designated water play days, create their own Coat of Arms, group games, build a popsicle stick catapult, theme-related STEM, Art, and more!
