Las actividades diarias incluyen juegos al aire libre, el reto de construir un bote de papel aluminio que no se hunda, días especiales de juegos con agua, juegos en grupo, STEM y arte con temática de aventura, y mucho más.
About Dual Language Immersion (DLI)
These special summer camps are designed to support and build on the Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program offered during the school year at Vannoy Elementary. Just like in our regular camps, students will explore fun weekly themes through hands-on activities, games, and projects—but in these camps, everything is taught in Spanish by bilingual instructors! The goal is to help students grow their Spanish skills while having a blast—whether they speak Spanish at home or are learning it as a second language. It's a great way for kids to become confident in both English and Spanish, while gaining a deeper appreciation for different cultures.
Gear up for the ultimate summer challenge: The Great Camp Adventure Race! This action-packed week features a thrilling journey filled with completing competitive challenges, conquering relay games, and working together to achieve victories big and small. Who will rise to the top and complete the grand adventure? Grab your teammates and join us for an unforgettable race to the finish line!
Daily activities include a variety of outdoor activities, partake in an unsinkable foil boat challenge, designated water play days, group games, theme-related STEM, Art, and more!
