Campers will “travel” across the continents—exploring the amazing cultures, animals, music, and art that make our world colorful and unique. Through hands-on activities, games, and arts & crafts, campers will become world travelers, without ever leaving camp!

Enrichment Class: Chess & Strategy Games: There will be a one hour chess & strategy games session in both the AM camp and PM camp. Each hour will be split into two segments. In the first half hour, a coach gives a lesson on a theme, idea, motif, or classical game. Campers participate by debating and attempting to find the best move in certain positions. Chess coaches will follow a curriculum that is tailored to the level of the class. Students will also be introduced to strategy games such as Blokus, Stratego and Codenames, that build critical thinking and collaboration skills.
The daily schedule includes theme-related STEM challenges, arts & crafts, sensory play, group games, outdoor activities, designated water play days (weather permitting), and more!
