Step into the shoes of history’s greatest inventors! In this hands-on summer camp, young innovators will explore the stories and creations of world-changing creators—from George Devol to Thomas Edison, Marie Curie, and the Wright brothers. Each day, campers will dive into a new invention and learn how creativity and persistence fueled its success. Through guided experiments, campers will recreate classic inventions where every activity sparks curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Enrichment Class: There will be a 45min Kinder Movement or Lego Build and Play enrichment class in both the AM camp and PM camp Monday - Thursday.
Kinder Movement: During Kinder Movement, campers will learn coordination, balance, and confidence through age-appropriate games, music, and activities. Campers will learn exciting games and navigate through obstacle courses. This high energy class will help Kinders express themselves and stay active with their friends.
Lego Build and Play: For our hands-on Lego Class, campers will be presented with fun and challenging building scenarios, encouraging them to work both independently and collaboratively. They’ll learn new games and even get creative with some Lego themed art. Activities will help them to follow directions, make a plan, and be creative while also fostering early STEM skills.
Daily activities include a variety of outdoor activities, sensory play, designated water play days (weather permitting), group games, theme-related STEM, Art, and more!
