Get ready for a week of hands-on discovery Rooted in Nature! Campers will dive into the wonders of the natural world—exploring plants, insects, and garden ecosystems. By the end of the week, each child will have a deeper appreciation for nature and a collection of creative projects to show how science and art work together in the garden! Campers will gain confidence as they experiment, build, and problem-solve on their own and in small teams, developing independence and a love of learning that lasts long after summer ends.

Enrichment Class: Chess & Strategy Games: There will be a one hour chess & strategy games session in both the AM camp and PM camp. Each hour will be split into two segments. In the first half hour, a coach gives a lesson on a theme, idea, motif, or classical game. Campers participate by debating and attempting to find the best move in certain positions. Chess coaches will follow a curriculum that is tailored to the level of the class. Students will also be introduced to strategy games such as Blokus, Stratego and Codenames, that build critical thinking and collaboration skills.
The daily schedule includes theme-related STEM challenges, arts & crafts, sensory play, group games, outdoor activities, designated water play days (weather permitting), and more!
