Get ready for a week of hands-on discovery at Rooted in Nature! Campers will dive into the wonders of the natural world—exploring plants, insects, and garden ecosystems. By the end of the week, each child will have a deeper appreciation for nature and a collection of creative projects to show how science and art work together in the garden! Campers will gain confidence as they experiment, build, and problem-solve on their own and in small teams, developing independence and a love of learning that lasts long after summer ends.
Enrichment Class: There will be a 45min Kinder Movement or Lego Build and Play enrichment class in both the AM camp and PM camp Monday - Thursday.
Kinder Movement: During Kinder Movement, campers will learn coordination, balance, and confidence through age-appropriate games, music, and activities. Campers will learn exciting games and navigate through obstacle courses. This high energy class will help Kinders express themselves and stay active with their friends.
Lego Build and Play: For our hands-on Lego Class, campers will be presented with fun and challenging building scenarios, encouraging them to work both independently and collaboratively. They’ll learn new games and even get creative with some Lego themed art. Activities will help them to follow directions, make a plan, and be creative while also fostering early STEM skills.
Daily activities include a variety of outdoor activities, sensory play, designated water play days (weather permitting), group games, theme-related STEM, Art, and more!
